We recently stayed at The Quarter Phloen Chit by UHG and honestly couldn’t have picked a better hotel for our trip to Bangkok.

The biggest reason we booked this place was its location. If you have an appointment at the U.S. Embassy, this hotel is almost perfect. It took us roughly five minutes to walk from the hotel to the embassy gates, which meant no dealing with Bangkok traffic, no stressing about taxis being late, and no waking up three hours early just to make an appointment.

The hotel itself was modern, clean, and comfortable. Our room was well maintained and had everything we needed, including a safe, bathrobes, hangers, and a modern smart TV that actually worked properly. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, and the room felt fresh and updated rather than worn out.

The gym is definitely on the small side, but I always consider any hotel gym a bonus. I was still able to get a decent workout in before breakfast, so no complaints there.

The rooftop pool was another highlight. Because the neighboring buildings aren’t particularly tall, the pool gets direct sunlight most of the day. If you’re someone who enjoys relaxing in the sun, this is a great spot to spend a few hours.

Now let’s talk about the real star of the show: the breakfast buffet.

I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, and this was one of the better breakfast buffets I’ve had in a long time. There was a large selection of breads and pastries, made-to-order omelets, pancakes, a waffle machine, fresh fruit, hot dishes, coffee, and plenty of other options. Everything was fresh, well stocked, and tasted great. Honestly, the breakfast alone makes this place worth considering.

Overall, The Quarter Phloen Chit by UHG delivered exactly what we wanted: a clean, comfortable hotel in a fantastic location with an outstanding breakfast and easy access to the U.S. Embassy.
